Stephanie & Taylor
Stephanie and Taylor had a beautiful October wedding at the Pine Knob Carriage House in Clarkston, Michigan. The two met at the venue to share their first look, and Taylor melted everyone into a puddle with his reaction to seeing Stephanie. They had their ceremony outdoors, where they shared stories from moments in their relationship and made vows for the future. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Stephanie shared with me that while wedding planning, they kept going back to the idea of ‘vintage romance’. I cannot think of a better way to describe this day. They were able to spend cocktail hour with their guests, and later be announced into the reception as Mr. and Mrs. where they celebrated the rest of the evening.
Alex & Lauren
Alex and Lauren invited friends and family to witness their marriage at the Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan on a gorgeous day back in August. Following their ceremony, the two and their wedding party made stops around Downtown Detroit for their portraits at locations that provide the most perfect backdrop. If you’ve been to Detroit, you know. They joined their guests for cocktail hour at the Colony Club and later kept the dance floor full and enjoyed performances from a live band during their reception. I was so grateful to be a part of this celebration — it was elegant, it was fun and it was romantic. There was no detail spared!
Diana & Simon
Diana and Simon got married on family property up near Bay City, Michigan, and hosted their friends and family for a beautiful backyard wedding. This day was truly about the two of them and their love story. They shared personal vows during their first look, then spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out with their wedding party and adding final touches before guests began arriving. One of the most special moments of this day was listening to the speeches shared about the two of them — who they are as individuals and how they make the perfect pair. There were laughs and tears, and a lot of memories shared of how their story came to be. Diana and Simon reminded everyone in attendance what a wedding is about.
